This is the second part of my predictions for the Critical Care Reviews 2025 “Best trials in the world”. [Irony is never off]

I am not afraid of making predictions because I analyze the premises the authors used, whether they did it intentionally or instinctively. Our thought leaders are not great thinkers, so they are more or less predictable.

I am not selling the regular journal club approach. You can find it elsewhere. There are excellent reviewers doing journal club-like discussions. I read them avidly.

I want you to think of plausibility, translation, disease models, epistemology, and more. I pack it with almost 30 years of bedside and teaching experience.

I want you to ask deeper questions.
